About Dean Mason
Dean established Enakt in 2003 as a boutique consultancy practice offering a range of leadership and business development tools and services. In recent years Dean has been developing a suite of workshops that combine his extensive business and mind-body expertise and experience. See Leading Well for his primary focus of this unfolding endeavour. A founding partner of the Academy of System Dynamics, Dean collaborates extensively with trusted colleagues, particularly for bringing systemic constellation work into personal and organisational development.
Achieving impressive success in a rapidly changing IT industry in the 1980's with large corporates, and then in the book industry in the 1990's as a Director of a national bookseller and library supplier, formed the starting point for Dean to begin helping many different businesses navigate successful pathways in the digital age. In 2001-2002 Dean was fortunate to work with Common Ground and project manage the highly innovative Creator-to-Consumer Research Project and to also be a major contributor to several other national industry-wide initiatives.
Since 1982, while maintaining high-pressure executive positions, Dean has consistently trained in and taught traditional soft martial arts, meditation, and philosophy. In more recent years Dean has supplemented these skills with training in systemic constellation work and Ignatian spirituality for the purpose of helping businesses, leaders, and workers generally, tap the regenerative resources available for fulfilling business and career dreams.
Currently studying for an MA in Spiritual Direction through the Jesuit College of Spirituality within the University of Divinity
Dean has completed the AltusQ Foundation Level Coaching Skills Program, a course that holds a European Quality Award conferred by the European Mentoring & Coaching Council. (2015)

Dean has been training in systemic constellation work since 2008 when he commenced with Mindfulness Based Systemic Constellation training.
In November 2006, Dean was accredited as an Executive Associate of the Institute for Independent Business. With over 4,000 Associates worldwide, this network of business professionals provides essential support and expertise for business projects across the globe.
Dean is also active in industry and community organisations on a voluntary basis. He is a founding partner of the Academy of System Dynamics, has served on the organsing committee for the first two Australasian Constellation Intensive held in Sydney, is the Secretary of the Victorian Association for Systemic Constellations, has recently served on the ALIA Research and Publishing Standing Committee, as a director of CAVAL Collaborative Solutions and as a member of the La Trobe University Bookshop Board of Management, prior to it being taken over by The Co-op Bookshop.
From 2010 to 2013 Dean was National Chairman of Dads in Distress Support Services (DIDSS), focussed on bringing help and hope to the thousands of families experiencing the difficulties of family break-up.
Dean is also an accomplished author and in 2012 his book titled Daddy's OK was published by New Holland Publishers.
